Everything(!) is off in the new show. Where is the unassuming, mindful, sensible and magnetic Richard-Dean-Anderson-MacGyver? This one is James Bond with a PhD and a 80s hair style (since he needed to look something like the old Mac?). It doesn’t stop there, there is no character that remotely looks like its partner of the first arrangement. Everybody is an overachiever. This time, Jack Dalton is youthful, solid, quick, alluring and has a hair style.

What’s more, obviously they fouled up the tech stuff extending from crazy to plain off-base. (You can’t upset remote correspondence with a “solid” DC-controlled electromagnet), Younger eras will relate MacGyver references with the new show.

Regardless of the crisp face of the lead and suspicious whippersnappers making up a large portion of the cast, the CBS Idea Generator (a can left out too long amid a CSI shoot) figure out how to just reproduce all a similar old, tired landfill rejects that have been engaging PC uneducated children of post war America for as far back as 15 years. It has George Eads!

The PC technical discussion is at the end of the day agonizingly appalling garbage.
